"Something" seemed to be inspired by Harrison's wife, Pattie, but he claimed he did not have anyone in mind when he wrote it. George was really into his studies of Krishna Consciousness when he wrote this song and its original intent was as a devotion to Lord Krishna. In fact, the lyric was "something in the way HE moves." George ended up changing it because he didn't want to be perceived as a "poof."
